Oliver
Bootmakers since 1887, Oliver Footwear owes its origins to gold mining in the Victorian provincial city of Ballarat.
The founder of Oliver Footwear, James Oliver, was a bootmaker by trade when he arrived on the Ballarat goldfields in the mid-1800's, then the richest alluvial and underground mining fields in the world. As his quest for gold nuggets came to an end, he returned to the art of bootmaking that he had aquired in the United Kingdom. In 1887, he established Oliver & Stevens to make tough and durable boots for miners and farmers.
Today, Oliver Footwear continues its commitment to manufacture quality footwear that addresses the demands of tough workplace safety environments. As a leading provider of Australian footwear solutions, Oliver Footwear promises the most comfortable, best performance and most durable footwear available. Pioneering innovative comfort and sole technologies, Oliver Footwear constructs quality footwear that not only help its wearers perform the best on the job, but also provide them with superior comfort and style.
